Primary 2

Here are some of our Primary 2 boys and girls looking wonderful for World Book Day.

What an exciting day for Primary 2! George the Giant came to visit and left letters for the children. George set different measuring tasks for the boys and girls to complete. They worked so hard to complete the tasks and thought carefully about measuring.

There has been lots of measuring going on in Primary 2! The boys and girls thought about the different natural resources they could use to measure various body parts. They had great fun measuring one another.

Primary 2 have been subtracting! They gathered 10 sticks and sang songs about taking away. One of the songs they sang was 'Ten Green Bottles'. Each time a bottle fell off the wall in the song they took away another stick and thought about how many sticks they had left each time.

Primary 2 have been learning about dinosaurs. Each group chose a type of dinosaur, thought carefully about their features and created one of their own using natural resources.

Primary 2 have been thinking about rhyming words. They used the outdoor environment to write as many rhyming words as they could.

Primary 2 made 2D shapes from natural resources.

P2 had so much fun during outdoor play.

P2 had great fun at their Christmas party.
