P6 Trip to The Belfast War Museum

Last week Primary 6 visited the War Museum in Belfast where they were cascaded with lots of amazing photos, videos and artefacts from World War 2. The children were able to see the gas masks that babies had to wear and were shown a short video on how to put one on a baby. We were all thankful that such masks do not need to be worn nowadays! The children were all exceptionally well behaved and demonstrated their excellent knowledge and understanding of the war.

‘The actual WW2 war outfits that we tried on were just amazing…but they were a little itchy!’

Joshua Morrison
